I’m officially on the ballot

I’m proud to share that my nomination papers have been submitted and officially accepted, I’m on the ballot for REVP.
A heartfelt thank you to my nominator, David Neufeld, President of the Union of Safety and Justice Employees, and to my seconder, Kevin Welgush, Regional Vice President for the Rocky Mountains Region of the Union of Taxation Employees. Your vote of confidence and support mean the world to me.
With just two months until convention, I’m looking forward to connecting with members across the Prairies, sharing ideas, and talking about the work ahead.
This is also a great time to encourage others to step forward. There are many important positions open on the Prairie Regional Council, and our strength comes from engaged members who are willing to lead, represent, and bring forward the voices of their communities. If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved, I encourage you to consider putting your name forward.
I truly believe that when we show up for each other, we can build a union that reflects the voices, needs, and strength of members across the Prairies.
I hope everyone had a restful long weekend and had the chance to enjoy some time with friends and family. My family and I took the opportunity to travel to my hometown and recharge together (and enjoy a lot of chocolate).
